UNA Coventry News June 2017

The UK General Election and UN Peacekeeping dominate the news this month. UNA-UK has launched a campaign that will let you tell every political party that you support an outward looking Britain that puts the UN at the heart of foreign policy. Please take part by visiting www.una.org.uk/manifesto-2017.

As well as jointly organising a conference on UN peacekeeping, UNA-UK started a campaign on tackling sexual abuse by some of those peacekeepers.

And if you want to help reduce car pollution near you and celebrate World Environment Day on 5 June, it's easy. Just plant a hedge. More details at unacov.uk/reduce-pollution-plant-a-hedge/
