Please thank UK Peacekeepers
From supporting peace agreements in Cyprus to protecting individuals from gender-based violence in South Sudan, UK men and women risk their own safety in the service of peace.
Yet they rarely receive public recognition for their work. There is no UK medal for civilian, military and police peacekeepers, nor a national day of remembrance in the UK.
With the UK doubling the number of peacekeepers it contributes to UN missions, UNA-UK invites you to visit this page to find out their stories.
You can also use that page to quickly thank our peacekeepers and show your support for British involvement in peace operations. Your letter will be sent to the Secretaries of State for Defence and Foreign & Commonwealth Affairs, as well as to all of our featured peacekeepers.
Thank you for your support.
