Dear Reader,

During August, we published 60 new posts related to climate change on the CovCAN website at covcan.uk. You will find a list of them all in one of the posts we include below. They include all the climate-related groups and activities working in and around Coventry. If you know of any we have missed please let me know.

UNA Coventry had been working with the counter-terrorism police and others to organise another conference in November following the very successful one we ran last year. Unfortunately due to technical reasons we have had to postpone these plans.

However we are now planning a Restorative Justice Conference to run in November. Details will follow in next month's newsletter.

And on 5 September we will host a talk by award-winning Nepalese human rights campaigner Indira Rana Magar in Coventry Council House. Details in the event list below.

As this newsletter goes out we are expecting our Human Rights in Action project manager to return to Coventry from her training course in Geneva. We will soon be holding a meeting to get her feedback on the course and make some decisions about what project she wants to run to promote human rights over the next 6 months.

Selections of our other news and forthcoming events are given below. Visit our website to see everything we are doing.
