Dear Reader, A month ago the world was in the early stages of the COVID-19 lockdown. Now various nations are beginning to allow people out of their homes, but widespread restrictions on movement are still in place. The Coventry TeleConferences website has already hosted several of our events, thanks to the generosity of Coventry Lord Mayor's Committee for Peace and Reconciliation, and more will follow. Given the failure of most nations to coordinate their responses to the virus, this is an ideal time to take part in UN75, a global conversation about what kind of world we want and what the UN should be doing to make it a reality. We invite you to take part. Simply by visiting the following link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/71964075097 at 2-4pm on the first Wednesday of every month this year, starting on 6 May. Please stay safe and be considerate of others. Philip Brown Secretary, UNA Coventry Branch philip@unacov.uk
