• Coventry Peace Festival

This year the Coventry Peace Festival will take place between 1st – 14th November.

As Coventry is a city of “Peace and Reconciliation” the Festival is an opportunity to showcase activity, events, exhibitions, educational work, talks, lectures, walks, etc, that highlight the notion of Peace and reconciliation. We will collate those events that fit that criteria and publish online and in print as the content of the city Peace Festival.

Once again Coventry City Council will be giving an opportunity to apply for a small grant of up to £250 to help with costs towards your event which will need to be focussed on Peace and Reconciliation.

Please remember that you will be required to follow the usual processes when it comes to delivering and booking events. If you are holding your event/activity on council land, you will need to gain permission from the landowners and supply various pieces of documentation such as a booking form, general event risk assessment and public liability insurance.

If you are holding your event on private land, please make sure that you receive the landowners permission.

If you are planning an event to be part of the Peace Festival, please fill out the form through the link below with the details of what you are proposing. The events team will review these and, if suitable, you will be added to the festival programme. Please make sure Coventry City Council is credited in any publicity you create around your event.
