The United Nations Association Coventry Branch is affiliated to the United Nations Association UK (UNA-UK). We are not part of the United Nations.

We organise events where members of the public can find out about the United Nations and discuss international issues with experts.

Roxana Anton, Volunteer Manager

My name is Roxana Ingrid Anton, an enthusiastic masters student in Diplomacy, Law and Global Change at Coventry University. I am a graduate of Early Childhood Education at Birmingham City University, a degree that provided and developed a variety of transferable skills. I have always been curious and passionate about international relations, how the world around me is constantly changing and how countries are maintaining peace.

Throughout my journey, in the last four years, I have developed an interest in promoting human rights, raising awareness of climate change and developments in education. I can describe myself as organised, reliable and eager to learn and enhance my understanding in broad topics.

The opportunity I have to be a part of the United Nations Association Coventry Branch as a Volunteer Manager is unique not only by giving me the opportunity to work with and meet people that can be role models for my future career; but also by allowing me to work towards my interests and engage students or people from community with the UN principles.
