UNA-UK

The United Nations Association UK (UNA-UK) is the only UK charity devoted to building support for an effective UN. It aims to make the case for an effective UN to British policy-makers and the public and to stimulate action. It is not part of the United Nations.
In addition to its head office in London it has branches around the country both in communities and universities.

UNA Coventry

The UNA Coventry Branch was formed in 2016. It aims to build support for, and understanding of, the work and values of the United Nations in the city. It does this by working with partner organisations such as Coventry University and the University of Warwick, Coventry City Council, schools and others to organise events, conferences, educational programmes. More information about our activities can be found on this website.

Branch Committee

The Branch is run by a Committee and we are looking to expand our membership to include representatives from our partner organisations and others who share our aims. There are three classes of Committee membership:

Full Members

Full members need to be paid-up members of the UNA-UK. Membership costs between £15 and £40 per year. Details of UNA-UK membership can be found here.

Organisational Members

These members represent organisations which are members of UNA-UK. Organisational membership of UNA-UK costs between £30 and £150 per year. More information here. Organisational members have full voting rights on the Committee.

Associate Members

These are not members of UNA-UK but can attend Committee and other planning meetings. However they do not have voting rights within the Committee.

We invite anyone interested in joining the Committee in any of the above grades to write to Philip Brown, Branch Secretary at philip@unacov.uk with a brief summary of your situation.
