Sarah attended the UN COP27 Conference in Egypt representing her organisation. She will explain and give us a feedback on the Conference i.e., her expectations and experiences and whether COP27 delivered what was on the table and plus moving forward.
Many of you were present towards the end of last month when we held a meeting pre-COP27 on Climate Change with a speaker from the Grantham Research Institute and I think I did forward excellent slides from the speaker to everyone on my mailing list.
Also present at COP27 Conference was one of our Branch committee members Jason Garrett from Leamington who works for World Vision and he will also make a contribution to the debate.
Sarah Millar works at the Climate Emergency Collaboration Group (CECG) as a Programme Director. Prior to the CECG, Sarah worked for 5 years as a climate change specialist consulting for C40 Cities, Bloomberg Philanthropies, Unilever, the Prince of Wales’s Corporate Leaders Group and the World Green Building Council. Sarah has worked at the heart of the COP process from within the UK Government, leading its international stakeholder engagement from Copenhagen (COP15) to Paris (COP21).
