United Nations (UN)
The United Nations (UN) is an intergovernmental organization aimed at promoting peace, justice, human rights and sustainable development through cooperation between nations. It employs thousands of people around the world in its organs and agencies.

United Nations Association (UNA)
The United Nations Association (UNA-UK) is not part of the UN. It is a UK pressure group based in London which tries to ensure the UK government fully supports the UN. It also has branches (such as the Coventry Branch) which inform the public about the UN.

The Coventry Branch runs various projects which inform the people of Coventry about the UN and engage them in the topics which the United Nations thinks are important:
