Philip Brown is a graduate in physics and mathematics from the University of Nottingham. Shortly after graduation he began researching on the book that he eventually published as “History of the Universe“. It was while he was researching his book that Philip came to the conclusion that something like the United Nations was an inevitable step in the long evolution of human society.

Being unable to find a publisher for the book, he started his own publishing company, Penny Press, which publishes the books which he has written under the pen name Wyken Seagrave.

However, since it is difficult to make a living by writing and publishing, he spent most of his professional career as a teacher, lecturer and later as an IT consultant with a number of international companies such as Hewlett Packard and Barclays Bank.

He co-founded UNA Coventry in 2016 and has been the Secretary since then.

He is also the Assistant Treasurer and the founder and editor of this website and a number of others created as a result of UNA Coventry’s work.
