Malnutrition, contaminated drinking water, and lack of medicines and medical equipment are some of the critical issues that the UN’s humanitarian chief, witnessed on the first day of his first mission to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. Mr. Lowock emphasized that we must not wait for geopolitics to run its course to alleviate the suffering of millions of people.
