Urgent Call to Action over Palestine and Israel
The Quakers in Britain acting on behalf the the Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI) has issued an urgent call for people to act in solidarity with the people of Palestine and Israel.

At the same time the United Nations issued a flash appeal for $294 million so that 77 humanitarian partners could address the most urgent needs of 1.26 million people in Gaza and the occupied West Bank.
OCHA spokesperson Jens Laerke said “This is a response to an escalation that has put civilians in a situation in which they should never be. The most urgent priority is now to de-escalate.”
