Global Care is a Coventry-based charity which sponsors vulnerable children and partners with grassroots projects in desperate communities in various countries including Sri Lanka, Uganda, Lebanon, Romania and lately Syria.

They do work “on the ground” and employ local people as their contacts. They liaise with other agencies including “Out of the Wilderness” in the Lebanon; The Dutch have “Help for Albania” and in Uganda there is “Water for All.”

They also have “Fundraising Friends.” Girls and boys have given equal access to education. Although Global Care is a Christian Organisation it supports any child irrespective of religion or culture.

“We can’t do everything, but we mustn’t do nothing.”
