In the past year we ran several films in the CINE UNA Cov series, each one including dealing with a UN-related topic and having one or more expert speakers to discuss the issue with the audience afterwards.

However we found it very hard to obtain enough publicity to build a sustainable audience, even though the films were free, and the series was frozen.

Now we have been approached by the West Midlands Christian Aid Office suggesting that we work together to revive the series, each film dealing with a human rights or development topic. It was suggested that we do not have a speaker, since that adds to the time required and people might prefer simply to watch the film.
