UN75 International Essay Competition
Coventry University’s Centre for Trust, Peace and Social Relations together with the Dialogue of Civilizations Research Institute (DOC) and others are co-organising a global essay competition in the context of the UN75 global dialogue. In the spirit of the international institution and the DOC’s goals, the topic to be addressed will be:
Humanity and Global Challenges:
How can we maintain international cooperation in the face of increasingly urgent global problems and decreasing dialogue between civilisations?
The competition is open to two groups of young people between the ages of 18 and 27:
(a) students who are enrolled in an educational program (bachelor or master’s degree)
(b) young professionals from around the world.
The winner(s) and judges of the essay competition will be invited to participate in a session at the Rhodes Forum 2020, the DOC’s flagship project.

The closing date for entry is midnight (GMT) 15th of April 2020.
