The UNA Ambassadors project was officially launched at an event organised by the Coventry Schools Peace and Justice Forum and UNA Coventry on 9 November 2017. The meeting was supported by Ambassadors from both Coventry and Warwick Universities and attended by teachers from Coventry schools as well as members of the Forum.

Ambassadors have now visited Finham Park and Coventry College and are currently preparing workshops that they will present to students next year. One will be on the theme of War, and will explore the topic of child soldiers. The second will tackle the topic of Peace and will explore Reconciliation.

It is still possible for schools to request an Ambassador visit to explore how they can help you fulfil PSHE, Citizenship and other UN-related work as well as helping your students start a UN Society. Please use the contact form to request a visit.
