UN Journal
The so-called “Journal of the United Nations” is not what one might expect from something with this name.
It is not an historical record of daily events connected with the UN. Instead it gives you information about official meetings scheduled for the current day and future days.
The information it gives includes:
- location ánd time of meetings
- lists of and links to documents to be considered
- information about non-official meetings
- information about informal consultations
- press conferences
- general information
- other events
It also includes summaries of the previous day’s meetings and meetings scheduled in the future.
It includes important meetings at the main UN offices such as New York, Geneva and Vienna.
It also contains broadcasts of some of these events when they are live.
