The United Nations was established to try to prevent wars from starting. The Coventry Schools Peace & Justice Forum and Coventry Lord Mayor’s Committee for Peace and Reconciliation invite all children of Coventry to submit an original poem on the theme of peace and/or justice and/or reconciliation.
Prizes and publishing fame to be won!
To qualify you must be born on or after 30 November 2002 and either attend a Coventry school or be living in the city.
The last day for submitting your entry is 30 November 2018.
We will publish all poems submitted in a book to celebrate peace.
In addition we will select the best poem and next year we will have it set to music to create the Coventry Peace Song.
