On 25 February Justice for Palestinians (JfP) Leamington Spa will be organising a Pathways to Peace event. This is one of a series of events that try to look at the way forward to an end to the Israeli occupation of Palestine.
For the third event in the series JfP have invited two UK-based Israeli Jewish activists with differing perspectives on the way ahead to share their visions of how the current war can be ended and what steps are needed to reach a long term just and peaceful outcome. They are:
- Professor Haim Bresheeth is the child of Holocaust survivors and is the author, inter alia, of ‘An army like no other’, about the IDF. He is a member of the One Democratic State campaign, a founder of the Jewish Network for Palestine, and a convenor of the Convivencia Project.
- Dr Magen Inon is a teacher whose parents were killed in the Hamas attack of 7 October 2023. Since then, he has become a leading voice for peace between Israelis and Palestinians, and is part of the team of Yachad whose primary mission is to empower British Jews to support a political resolution to the Israeli Palestinian conflict.
The event is at St Peter’s Hall, Leamington Spa CV32 5AA and will run from 19:00-20:30. Doors open at 18:40.
Book your ticket to attend in person or watch on-line at https://www.tickettailor.com/events/justiceforpalestiniansleamingtonspa/1522466. If you book to join by Zoom, you will be sent the link to do so on the day before the event.
JfP ask for a small fee to cover the costs (room rental, speakers’ travel, etc.) with any surplus going to Medical Aid for Palestinians.
