This conference on 9th November 2023 will give 6th formers the opportunity to discuss issues of security and how they could take steps to promote peace and understand issues that concerned them. These include the environment, health, inequality and emotional security.
Young people will discuss issues of security and how they can take steps to promote peace and understand issues that concerned them. Delegates will be informed so they can take action and have their voice heard and how to build more peaceful societies.
The Conference is part of the RISING Global Forum which is organised annually by Coventry University’s Centre for Trust, Peace and Social Relations. It is managed by Coventry Lord Mayor’s Committee for Peace and Reconciliation in partnership with Coventry Cathedral and Coventry Prevent Team.
The Conference will run in in Coventry Cathedral from 9:00 to 12:30 on 9 November 2023.
