UNA Coventry Branch, working with the Centre for Trust, Peace and Social Relations at Coventry University, ran Young People’s Peace Essay Competition for the first time in 2020.

The competition will run again in 2021, this time aiming to attract more essays from young people aged 25 or less, and now it has its own website: youngpeoplespeaceessay.org

To raise the profile of the competition they will need to raise the monetary reward offered by of the prizes, so they have created a JustGiving donations page and also issued an appeal for corporate sponsors, whose support will be acknowledged on the website and in promotional material.
