Warwick District University of the 3rd Age (U3A) will a running a seminar at Dormer Place Conference Centre, Leamington, on Wednesday 29th June from 10am to 1pm which will look at issues raised by the Ukraine conflict: International Law and Peace Keeping.
There will be presentations on:
The United Nations: What Is It For? by U3A Chairman, Chris Forse.
Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine and International Criminal Law by Andrew Williams, Professor of Law, the University of Warwick.
Part 1: Applying the Crime of Aggression.
Part 2: War Crimes, Genocide and Crimes Against Humanity.
The session will be interactive; comments and questions will be valued.
There will be refreshments at mid-point.
