#StandUp4HumanRights
It’s been 70 years since the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was proclaimed by the United Nations. It is a landmark document that sets out fundamental human rights to be universally protected – from freedom of expression, to the presumption of innocence, and the right to education.
The Elders are joining emerging young leaders to debate the future of human rights in an event: “Challenging Human Rights Leadership” in partnership with The British Council and SOAS, University of London.
